Kitchen Remodeling in Central Florida

Sunologi Inc. is a licensed Florida building contractor (CBC1261200) based in Sanford that remodels kitchens across Central Florida, including Orange, Seminole, Lake, Volusia, and eleven more counties. We handle the whole job under one contract: demolition, cabinets, countertops, plumbing, electrical, flooring, and paint, with permits pulled by us when the work requires them. Our company is part of the AllSolar family of companies, which has served Florida homeowners since 1999.

What a kitchen remodel with us includes

Every kitchen is different, but a full remodel usually covers demolition and disposal, cabinet replacement or refacing, countertop fabrication and installation, backsplash tile, sink and faucet, appliance hookups, lighting and electrical updates, flooring, and paint. If you want to move a wall, relocate the sink, or add an island with power, we design and permit that work properly instead of working around it.

You get one point of contact, a written scope before we start, and a schedule you can hold us to. Our crews are local and our project management runs on the same field software we built for our own companies, so you can see where your job stands.

What drives the price of a kitchen remodel

Kitchens fall into three bands: a cosmetic refresh (refacing or paint, new counters, backsplash, fixtures), a full remodel that keeps the layout, and a full remodel that moves walls or plumbing. Each band is a genuinely different project.

The three biggest cost drivers are cabinets, countertop material, and whether anything moves. Moving a sink or gas line means plumbing and permit work that a straight swap does not need. We do not publish prices because no two kitchens land in the same place; we quote every job after a site visit and the written estimate shows where the money goes, line by line.

How long it takes

A same layout remodel typically runs 3 to 6 weeks of on site work once materials are in hand. Layout changes push that to 6 to 10 weeks. Cabinet and countertop lead times, not labor, are usually the long pole, so we do not start demolition until your materials are ordered and scheduled. If a permit is required, county review adds 2 to 6 weeks before work starts, depending on the jurisdiction.

Kitchen Remodeling: common questions

Do I need a permit to remodel a kitchen in Florida?

Usually yes. In Florida, replacing cabinets and counters alone generally does not require a permit, but moving or adding plumbing, moving or adding electrical circuits, or altering walls does. Most full kitchen remodels involve at least one of those. As the licensed contractor, we pull the permit and schedule inspections ourselves; you never have to deal with the county.

What does a kitchen remodel cost in Central Florida?

It depends on which of three bands your project falls into: a cosmetic refresh, a full remodel keeping the same layout, or a remodel that moves walls or plumbing, and each is a very different number. Cabinets, countertop material, and layout changes are the main drivers. We price from a site visit, not a formula, and every quote arrives as a written line item scope so you can see exactly where the money goes.

Can I use my kitchen during the remodel?

Partially. Water and power to the kitchen are down during demolition and rough in, typically the first one to two weeks. We help homeowners plan a temporary kitchen setup, keep the refrigerator running whenever possible, and seal the work area with dust barriers so the rest of the house stays livable.

Do you handle design or do I need my own designer?

We handle layout and material selection for most kitchens in house and we are glad to work from a kitchen designer's or architect's plans if you already have them. Either way you approve a final scope and drawings before demolition starts.
