Whole Home Renovations in Central Florida

Sunologi Inc. is a licensed Florida building contractor (CBC1261200) based in Sanford that renovates entire homes across Central Florida. Older block homes from the 1960s through the 1990s are most of what we see: original kitchens and baths, dated electrical panels, closed floor plans. We renovate them under one contract and one permit package, sequenced so the house stays as livable as possible. Sunologi is part of the AllSolar family of companies, serving Florida homeowners since 1999.

What a whole home renovation covers

Typically some combination of kitchen and bath remodels, flooring throughout, interior wall changes to open floor plans, new interior doors and trim, paint, lighting and electrical updates, and exterior work like windows and doors. We scope the whole project up front, then sequence trades so drywall dust does not land on finished floors and you are not living in a construction zone longer than necessary.

Because the whole scope is under one CBC licensed contractor, you get one permit package, one schedule, and one person responsible when something needs fixing. That is the difference between a renovation and a year of loosely coordinated handymen.

How a whole home renovation is priced

The budget follows the wet rooms: the kitchen and each bathroom carry their own scopes, then flooring, paint, doors, and trim price by the square foot. Square footage, the number of kitchens and baths in scope, and finish level set the band. We produce a line item scope so you can see exactly what each room costs and cut or add before we start, not after.

Living through it

Most families stay in the home. We stage the work: wet rooms first or last depending on your situation, dust barriers between zones, water and power outages announced a day ahead. If a project is invasive enough that moving out for a few weeks saves you real money and misery, we will tell you that plainly before you sign.

Whole Home Renovations: common questions

Should I renovate room by room or all at once?

All at once is cheaper per room and much faster overall, because trades mobilize once and the permit package covers everything. Room by room spreads cost over time and keeps more of the house usable. We price both ways when asked; the honest answer depends on your budget and tolerance for living with construction.

Can you open up a wall between my kitchen and living room?

Usually yes. Many interior walls in Florida block homes are not load bearing, and the ones that are can typically be opened with an engineered beam. We verify structure before quoting, and any structural change is engineered and permitted. That determination happens at the site visit, not as a surprise mid job.

How long does a whole home renovation take?

A meaningful renovation of a 3 bedroom home typically runs 2 to 4 months of on site work after permits, and larger or structural projects run longer. Material lead times, county permit review, and inspection scheduling set the pace as much as labor does. You get a written schedule with milestones before we start.
