What makes a pergola a solar pergola?

The roof slats or panels carry photovoltaic modules, so the structure that shades the patio also generates electricity. It is a pergola first: if it does not work as shade and structure, the panels on top do not save it.

Who handles the solar side?

Sunologi builds the structure as a licensed building contractor. The solar electric work is handled through AllSolar Energy Inc, the licensed solar and electrical contractor in the same family of companies, CVC056660 and EC13005027.

Does it need a permit?

Yes, both for the structure and for the electrical. We pull the permit and carry the job through inspection as part of the contract, so the paperwork is not left with you.
